Original Delhi: In a gesture signifying close India-Kuwait ties, the Indian flag used to be at half-mast in the nation and at the total Indian missions internationally on Sunday to pay homage to the departed Amir of Kuwait, Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. 

The Amir died final week on September 29 and had served as the foreign minister of the nation for over forty years and Amir for over fourteen years.

India’s envoy to Kuwait, Sibi George known as him a gigantic excellent friend and effectively-wisher for India, he said, “He contributed immensely in constructing our bilateral partnership. He visited India several situations along with his memorable Articulate consult with.”

Exterior Affairs Minister S Jaishankar had visited the Kuwaiti Embassy in Original Delhi to brand the condolence e book.
